The Big 3-0 is here… Can you believe that? I most certainly can’t!
It feels… weird. I definitely don’t feel the way I thought I would when turning 30. I thought I’d have my sh*t together by now, you know… I think I was a better person 10 years ago than I am now. I was so confident and optimistic back then…
There is one thing I think I’ve learnt in the last few years, though, and it’s not to worry and stress out about petty stuff. Most things can be figured out and fixed, you know. Unless it’s a matter of life and death (literally), it is not irreparable.
But dear Diary, let’s lighten up the mood! Wanna hear about my favorite products of the month?
Here they are!
A balm-to-powder bronzer that blurs the look of pores and fine lines while giving you the most natural sukissed look? Believe it or not, it really exists, and it’s the YSL Les Sahariennes Sun-Kissed Blur Perfector. Find out more about it in my full review.
Smith and Cult Nailed Lacquers in Bitter Buddhist & Doe My Dear
The Smith and Cult nail polish formula is the most long-wearing I’ve ever tried, and I’m completely in love with it.
Read about our romance in my previous post.
L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate
As I told you here, this is a body moisturizer worth waiting 10 years for… Why, you ask? Well, it smells divine, sinks in quickly, and is nicely moisturizing. Plus, the packaging is gorgeous!
I tried a few pieces from the KIKO x Lovegrove Wanderlust collection and liked everything but one thing (here you may find the full review)… With its super smooth texture and luminous finish, the Desert Dunes Trio Baked Blush is definitely the product that impressed me the most. I highly recommend it!
La Roche-Posay Effaclar BB Blur in Fair/Light
As I said in my review, the Effaclar BB Blur may very well be my favorite base product of all time. I just love how great it is at minimizing pores and fine lines! If you have normal to oily skin and don’t mind silicony textures, chances are you’ll love it too!
What have you been loving this month? And did you learn any valuable lessons in recent years?
