August 2016: Current Crushes & I Can Start Using the F-Word

August is over.

Which means:

Summer is almost over.

Which means:

I can officially (albeit reluctantly) start using the f-word(*).

There are only two things I’m actually looking forward to about the upcoming fall(*) (which is good. There normally are zero):

  1. The Gilmore Girls revival coming to Netflix on November 25.
  2. Putting the Chanel Le Rouge Collection N°1 on my face EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

(In case you missed the raving review of my all-time favorite makeup collection, I highly encourage you to check it out. You’ll find looks, product shots, swatches, angels singing, and lots of squealing…)

On the rare occasions I won’t be using the Chanel Le Rouge products, I’m pretty sure I’ll be rocking the gorgeous Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge in M500 (AKA the ultimate vampy lipstick), and the surprisingly silky shadows from the KIKO Neo Muse Eyeshadow Palette in 01 Mahogany Silhouette.

You may have noticed (or not) that I’ve been absent for the past week. If, by any remote chance, you’ve been wondering why, well, I’ve simply had a classic case of “Life got in the way“, but I’ll be back very soon with my usual makeup musings and random ramblings.

Pinky promise.

How are you, my friends? Was August a good month? And are you looking forward to the fall?

I am still in denial, and fall officially starts at September 21th and not a damn day earlier. So I will head for a summer (ha!) vacation now and then transition when I return.

Well, I guess the fall and winter in Cyprus are not as awful as here in Bologna, Italy.

That deep berry lipstick is so beautiful. It’s actually Spring here now which is nice apart from my allergies haha. I’ve been very busy during August which meant, not enough time for blogging but hopefully September will be more organised!

I don’t really like fall, but I definitely like fall makeup, so I guess I’ll just focus on that!

I just bought mufe lipstick in 506 dark purple ( do you know they have actual names
On the mufe site? I much prefer names
To numbers in my lipsticks) i do love that i can wear my makeup more grunge or punk in the fall and wear boots and leather jackets and fall makeup :). Leaves. But i came from a
Rainy mountainy region so i guess fall is the season that reminds me
    Most of home

I am actually looking forward to Autumn 🙂 I love all these autumnal makeup and the colourful leaves. One of the thing I don’t like about a&w is the short days, days are getting shorter everyday, it is so annoying! M500 is gorgeous!

Oh, I hope life got in its usual course again for you. August was a great month for me and my family, lots of emotions and novelties going on, so I don’t complain 😉
A few Items of the Fall collection are already on my wishlist, we will see if I ‘ll resist or not !!

LOL @ using the F word. That’s real though. I can’t believe how fast time is flying. Life has been getting in the way for me too lately. But I feel like I’m pulling through finally. Great product. Looks amazing on you.
