Today’s my baby’s 1st birthday!!!
Hmm, no, I don’t have a child I’ve never told you about…
I’m talking about my blog!
You know, Carol in a Page kinda feels like a baby to be… I mean, I created it, I fed it new content to help it grow, I’ve had a few sleepless nights because of it, and it made me kinda proud when because of it I got the chance to work for the über talented Karen on her amazing Makeup and Beauty Blog.
To celebrate this little achievement, I’d like to share with you some of my favorite posts from the past year… You know, in case you need some (hopefully) giggle-inducing reading material over the weekend.
- My New Year’s Eve Party Look and the Eating Habits of Pythons…
- The Next Best Thing After a Burberry Trench Coat
- February 2016: Current Crushes and BIG NEWS
- Afraid of Bronzers? Then the Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in Sun-Kissed Might Be the One for You
- Smith and Cult Nailed Lacquer: A Love Affair
In other news, you may have noticed that I haven’t been very active on here over the past month. I’ve had a lot on my mind and wasn’t in the right mood to write the type of posts I like to write. I usually try to make my personality shine though my writing, and had I written more in June, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have liked what would have shined through.
I’m not sure that made any sense, but anyways, it’s a different month now and I hope I can make it a better one.
I don’t really have the usually monthly favorites to talk about, but I’d like to share with you an eye-lip combo I’ve been wearing a lot lately (which for me is pretty unusual, since I like to change my makeup on a daily basis).
Wearing the NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Isolde on my eyes and the YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Mats in 208 Fuchsia Fetiche on my lips. You may read how I got this natural sun-kissed look on Makeup and Beauty Blog
The NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Isolde and the YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Mats in 208 Fuchsia Fetiche are my all-time favorites in their respective product categories, and I absolutely adore how they look together, especially when paired with a sun-kissed complexion. This was definitely my favorite look in June, and if you follow me on Snapchat (carolinapage), you’ll probably have seen that I even wore it at my mom’s wedding (June’s biggest highlight – it was nice seeing her that happy!).
How was your June? And do you have anything exciting planned for July?
And you may find me on Snapchat as carolinapage!
