I don’t usually do too many of these tags, but I love spring and I love Hannah, who tagged me on this one, so I couldn’t not do it!
Hannah blogs over at Floraful about beauty, her adventures with her husband Cecilio, as well as life with lupus. I really admire her positivity and how she enjoys life despite having to deal with a chronic disease. I find her very inspiring, so definitely check out her blog if you haven’t already.
Now, let’s get down to this question-answering business, shall we?
Favorite spring nail polish?
I guess it changes from year to year. This spring it’s definitely the Givenchy Le Vernis in Purple Ink.
Must-have lip color this spring?
The Lancôme Matte Shaker Liquid Lipstick in 378 Pink Power, which has an extremely comfortable yet long-wearing formula and mega-watt brightness.
Favorite spring dress?
Hmmm… I don’t really know how to answer this question. Should I mention a style? A specific brand and model? Plus, I associate dresses with summer rather than spring, so let’s just jump to the next question.
Sunflowers, but since they’re not spring flowers, I’ll go with calla lilies.
Favorite spring accessory?
I can’t really think of an accessory I only wear in the spring… Although, actually, I totally consider nail polish an accessory, so, see above.
What spring trends are you most excited for this year (makeup or fashion)?
I’m not much of a trend follower, but I’m looking forward to wearing bright pink and orange lipsticks, which is something I always do in the warmer months.
Favorite spring candle?
I tend to burn candles mainly in the fall and winter, but yesterday I had the chance to give the Sea Salt & Sage Yankee Candle a sniff, and I have a feeling that it might soon become my first spring candle.
Favorite body spray or perfume for spring?
I like the same fresh, light fragrances all year round, and over the past few months I’ve been very much in love with the clean, salty notes of the Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne (I guess I really have a thing for sage and salt together!).
What is spring like where you live?
It really depends! Here in Bologna, Italy, some years spring is rainy and cold while other years it’s sunny and summery. This year so far it’s been amazing: lots of sunshine and temperatures around 20-25° C. Needless to say that I LOVE it!
What is your favorite thing about spring?
The feeling of rebirth, the longer days, the warmer weather, strawberries…
Are you a spring cleaner?
Nope, I just do the bare minimum all year round.
Any plans for spring break or upcoming vacation?
I’ve started a new job about a month ago, so I think it’ll be a while before I can take a vacation… but we will see! 😉
I’d love for you to answer one or more questions in the comment section below. Let’s all celebrate the beauty of spring together!
