If you’re not familiar with the Show a Little Lovin’ series, here you may read what it is and why I came up with it. Basically, at the beginning of each month, I go through my makeup stash to select a bunch of products I haven’t been loving as much as they deserve, to use as often as possible for the following 30 days.
Here’s April selection!
MAC Lipstick in Fusion Pink
Wearing MAC Fusion Pink on my lips, Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in My Two Cents on my eyes, and Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminator in 100 Bare Light on my cheekbones (which you can’t really see!)
If I remember correctly, Fusion Pink was my first MAC lipstick ever, and I haven’t worn it in a very long time! I wonder why, though (well, actually, I do know why… I have too many lipsticks and only one set of lips)… It’s GORGEOUS. It’s an amplified finish, which means it’s crazy pigmented and pretty long-lasting. If you love bold colors and want to grow your MAC collection, this is definitely a good one!
Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in My Two Cents
I’m so glad I’ve rediscovered my Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in My Two Cents. I’ve always liked it, but for some reason I’m loving it so much more than I did in the past. Maybe that’s because I used to build up the color to a very intense copper, while now I tend to wear it as a softer wash, and I like it better this way. I LOVE it this way. I’ve been wearing it all the freaking time since the beginning of the month.
Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminator in 100 Bare Light
You might already know that I’m not the biggest fan of intense highlighters, not only because I have oily skin, but also because I feel like they give you what Ruth Crilly the other day very eloquently called a ‘Robot Face’ (that woman is one of the most hilarious creatures on this planet!).
But if I dab a couple of drops of Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminator in 100 Bare Light on my cheekbones, I just get the prettiest subtle sheen. No robot face, I promise.
Maybelline Color Sensational The Creamy Mattes in Craving Coral
Maybelline Color Sensational The Creamy Mattes in Craving Coral
I bought the Maybelline Color Sensational The Creamy Mattes in Craving Coral a few months ago, tested it, and then set it aside in favor of more wintery shades. But now it’s spring, which means I’m wearing t-shirts, I’m eating buckets of gelato, and sporting orange lips on an almost daily basis, so it’s time to give this bad boy the love it deserves. It’s definitely not the most long-lasting matte lipstick I’ve ever tried, but it glides on the lips beautifully and is extremely comfy, so it’s totally worth the touch-ups! 😉
Did you make any interesting rediscoveries recently?

April 16, 2016 at 1:34 pmYes, the MaxFactor cream eyeshadow in “Coffee”, a perfect wash of color/brown daytime smokey eye that needs almost no blending and is applied in seconds – my main concern right now.

April 16, 2016 at 4:17 pmI am rediscovering my love for Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua since yesterday. I bought Becca Backlight Primer Filter and was wondering what to do with it because I have no matte/velvet foundation so I opted for that as it’s the closest to velvet finish and it was stunning. I have a feeling I will be finishing the foundation this year. LOL!

April 17, 2016 at 5:57 amThis spring I’ve rediscovered a long forgotten Essence lipstick, the shade is called All About Cupcake, and it’s the perfect pale pink coral for the season. I’m so happy I dug it out of my lipstick drawer!

April 17, 2016 at 6:54 pmToo many lipsticks and one set of lips is the perfect justification. Great idea to show these products some love. I love the mac fusion pink on you. Trying to figure out my spring lipsticks and not sure if loving nudes or pale pinks and corals at the moment. I’ll figure it out soon I hope.

April 18, 2016 at 11:31 amWow Pink Fusion looks absolutely perfect on you! Also it’s probably the best time to start wearing it again, as it looks like the perfect Spring shade. I have actually been trying to start using products that I neglect again. I have been loving my Esteé Lauder Double Wear (for special occasions or bad skin days) lol and my Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder. Both not very Spring-like products, I know lol.

April 21, 2016 at 4:49 pmCraving Coral looks AMAZING on you! I love this type of post – I do something similar and definitely love the “challenge” of using up certain products. Also, I’m still laughing about ‘robot face’, such a hilarious way of putting it haha!
