New Year's Eve 20s Inspired Makeup Look
Makeup

My New Year’s Eve Party Look and the Eating Habits of Pythons…

Did you know that pythons can eat up to 50% of their own body weight in one meal? Then they retreat to a warm spot where they snooze for a couple of days while digesting their prey… Well, I very much feel like a python right now.

After eating 50% of my own body weight for 3 days in a row, I am now in my own warm spot (on the couch under a blanket), drifting in and out of sleep with Netflix in the background (by the way, I’m watching a show called ‘The Americans’, which is about two Russian spies living in the US during the Cold War, in the 80s. I highly recommend it!).

Since I figured many of you will probably be in a similar comatose state, today I thought I’d only share a short and sweet post about my New Year’s Party look.

New Year's Eve 20s Inspired Makeup LookI decided to go for something that was a little 20s-inspired using black kohl and a dark red lip liner. I applied a soft black eye pencil to my waterline (top and bottom) and smudged it along the lash line (again, top and bottom) and up towards the crease, which I then blended out with Wanderer from the Tartelette Palette. After subtly sculpting my cheekbones with Marc Jacobs #InstaMarc, I finished off by applying KIKO Rebel Romantic Intensely Lavish Lip Pencil in 06 Melodious Wine.

Did you guys have a nice Christmas? How’s your digestion going? And what are you doing for New Year’s Eve?

Simpy gorgeous! You look so glamorous! I think I am going to be spending New year’s Eve at my friends’ house just hanging out, having a drink and playing games. What are yours New Year’s Eve plans?

Ooh, sounds like you had a great Christmas! There was definitely lots of yummy food involved for mine as well, and I’m still stuffed haha 🙂 I seriously love your New Year’s look though, it looks good but it’s also simple! I should do that too, since I’m set to go to a concert so a heavy looks is probably not the smartest idea haha.

Trust me, I don’t have gorgeous skin, at all! I just use very good concealer 😉 Oh, and it might also be the Chanel Perfection Lumière Velvet Foundation I was wearing. Despite being matte, it reflects the light in a very flattering way!

Love this New Years Eve party look and that was basically me as well. We threw a Freindsmaskah (friends Christmas Hannukah) here in Berlin and basically ate our body weight in food and dessert and then had left overs for the next few days. I definitely can see my bad actions on my stomach so time to hop in the gym haha.

I also feel the same way, too much food… more than my body can ever take! All I want it being lazy constantly 🙂 Such a beautiful New Year’s eve makeup look and great lipstick pick. I will probably be wearing something similar.
