Purple Lipstick: Tips for the Shy

Although I personally love rocking a purple pout, I understand it can be rather scary for some people. I am sure many of you think purple lipstick looks great on others but are not brave enough to sport one yourselves. Well, summer is the perfect time to step out of your comfort zone and start experimenting, as it is definitely easier to pull off brighter hues when you’re tanned.

MAC Heroine is the perfect summer purple, you may want to save more eggplanty tones for the colder months.

Picture this: you are on vacation, no one knows you… You can let your guard down a little, relax and just have fun. You get back to the hotel after a long day at the beach and it’s time to get ready for the night. But who can be bothered to do a full face of makeup while on holiday, in the heat? I know I can’t! So my suggestion is: just slap on some BB cream, liquid blush and tons of mascara. That magic purple bullet will do the rest.

Throw your hair up in a messy bun, DON’T take a toilet selfie and you’re good to go. Have a piñacolada for me, will ya?
