For a number of reasons I don’t really want to discuss, lately I’ve felt mentally drained.
I lack the brain power for even the most basic daily tasks and activities I normally enjoy, like reading my favorite blogs (let alone working on my own!) and doing my makeup.
I usually like to change my look on a daily basis and really enjoy the process of selecting and putting on makeup, but at the moment it all feels like a chore.
That’s why the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette in Beauty Glow (£49/$75), with its foolproof numbered steps and complementary shades, has been a real lifesaver and pretty much everything I’ve used over the past month.
The Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette in Beauty Glow contains three eyeshadows (1, 2, 3), a bronzer/contour (4), two blushes (5, 6) and a highlighter (7)
Having a pre-made selection of products that work perfectly together, this palette doesn’t only suit my current limited mental abilities, but also makes getting ready in the morning so damn quick.
Most of the time, I apply either shade 2 or 3 as an all-over wash on the lids, mix 4 and 5 as a bronzer and place shade 6 on the apple of the cheeks. As some of you will know, I’m not big on highlighters, so that’s a step I often skip, all the more so since the other face products provide their own subtle glow.
I think there aren’t any misses in the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in A Palette in Beauty Glow, so if you’re someone who travels a lot or is always on the run, I believe this palette would be a great addition to your makeup bag.
That would be all for today – I hope I’ll be back soon with more exciting content. I know this post is not as entertaining and informative as I like to think my posts usually are, but I needed to lightly exercise my writing muscle before it atrophied completely!
