Yesterday, I spent the day at the Universal Exposition in Milan, which revolves around food and feeding the planet. The site is huge and I was only able to visit a small portion of the numerous pavilions. Some of them (especially the smaller ones) were mainly restaurants/stores, but others were really great at representing the country’s take on feeding the world in a sustainable way. Among the pavilions I visited, South Korea’s was my favorite, but unfortunately I didn’t get to see highly recommended ones, like Japan and UAE, because the line to get in was just too long.
I really enjoyed my day at the Expo, I think it was a nice way to learn something new about countries we usually hear so little about. If you want to get a taste of what it was like, feel free to scroll the gallery above.
Have you ever been to a World’s Fair? If so, where? Did you enjoy it? I’d love to hear all about it in the comments!
