The last couple of years have been all about the brows. Full, bold brows had been on vacation since the 80’s, but they’ve definitely made a strong comeback, thanks in large part to celebrities like Cara Delevigne and Lily Collins.
I’ve never been a fan of thin brows, not even when they were in vogue, and the only thing I’ve ever done to them is plucking the hairs that sometimes grow out of their natural shape, that’s it. About a year ago, I started using Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil to lightly fill them in, from time to time, but it wasn’t until recently that I found a product worthy of my daily makeup routine: a tinted gel by Collistar, an Italian beauty brand.
This gel does to my brows exactly what I like, in just a matter of seconds: it makes them look fuller (thanks to the tiny fibers it contains) and naturally defined, while keeping them in place all day long. Plus, its small brush makes it very easy to apply without staining your skin.
I think a gel is the best option for those who have decent brows to begin with and like a natural look. If you have very sparse or thin brows, you can still use it, but it’s probably best to apply it on top of other products.
How do you guys like your brows? Natural or sculpted and defined? Do you change them depending on the look you’re going for? What products do you use? As I said, I’ve only used two in my whole life, so I’d definitely like to know more!

September 8, 2015 at 2:51 pmI recently changed the way I do my brows to “not much effort at all”. I stopped with the arch and try to keep them as natural as possible, only brushing them in place with MUR brow mascara in Fairest which also lightens them just a tiny bit as I added more blonde to my hair. I just received new brow pomade from Ingot and I’m hard on testing it now 🙂

September 8, 2015 at 9:02 pmYour brows look perfect, just how I want mine to be! However my luck I can’t seem to grow my brows and have so many gaps, when I don’t use any brow product then it just doesn’t look nice *sigh*

September 9, 2015 at 8:39 pmI love your brows! I definitely prefer natural looking brows, I use powder to fill them in. Would love to try a brow gel but I think my brows not thick enough though.

September 13, 2015 at 9:00 pmI like Benefit Gimme Brow which sounds very similar to your Collistar gel with fibers. It gives me a quick defined brow that’s a little fuller. My brows are kind of sparse at the tail, so whenever I want a really well defined, shaped brow, I use a brow powder to fill them.

September 14, 2015 at 9:05 amYour eyebrows are stunning!
I was becoming annoyed at the time I spent filling it my brows so I decided to have eyebrow embroidery a few months ago and it was truly one of the best choices I’ve made.

September 14, 2015 at 6:17 pmp.s. I tried to leave a comment on your blog, but couldn’t. When I hit the ‘Leave a comment’ button I get a ‘Page not found’. Do you think it’s a problem on my end?

September 14, 2015 at 1:56 pmI used to be all about the thin brows, but my mom wouldn’t let me pluck them (thanks mum), so they still are pretty much in shape. I usually fill them in and only pluck a few stray hairs.
