First of all, happy New Year!
Second of all, I got a new dress!
(Oh, by the way, it’s Carol in a Page, the blog, speaking.)
My human counterpart, Carolina, got me this new little outfit for Christmas and I thought I’d put it on today to start the new year in style… What do you think? Do you like it?
I personally adore it!
Not that I didn’t like my previous dress… I loved it, in fact! It was the dress I was born in and it’ll always have a special place in my heart, but after wearing it for one and a half years, I was ready for a change.
As you can see, though, my new “outfit” is not that different from my old one but, you know, I like staying true to my style. Now I just feel like a slightly more refined and modern version of myself.
Speaking of which…
Usually I’m not one for big inspirational speeches or fancy-sounding advice, but there actually is one little piece of advice I’d like to give you for 2017:
Always stay true to yourself.
Try to celebrate what sets you apart from the norm, rather than trying to be like everybody else or doing what everyone else is doing.
Remember, the most special thing you have as a human being is that you’re YOU.
No one else has got that. 😉
