I really have to say that Rebel Romantic, KIKO’s latest collection, seems like a good one. I visited a store last week and only after a great deal of perusing and swatching, I decided which products would make it home with me: the Metallic Shine Eyeshadow in 05 Charming Sage and the Color Definition Eyeliner and Kajal in 04 Amazon Blue.
Metallic Shine Eyeshadows are a hybrid between cream and powder: this means they have very little to no fallout, are extremely pigmented, easy to blend and super long-lasting. The shade I chose is a pretty olive green.
Color Definitions are twist-up, matte pencil eyeliners that can be applied on both the lashline and the waterline. Amazon Blue is a gorgeous navy blue that I think pairs really nicely with my brown eyes. It goes on smoothly on the lashline, but waterline application is a little tricky: to build up the color, you need to put on one layer, let it dry, and then go in again with a second layer. If you do that, the pencil has good payoff and lasts well.
I decided to create a quick look to try these two products together and I quite like the result. I applied Charming Sage on my mobile lids and blended it out with Nudie, a light-medium taupe brown from Too Faced Natural Matte. Then I lined my waterlines with Amazon Blue and smudged it underneath.

August 16, 2015 at 3:10 pmI instantly fell for the olive eyeshadow, but I know I would never wear it. Greens just don’t suit me! It has been ages since I visited KIKO the last time, I have to go back soon.
