The WYCON Caviar Touch Eyeshadow in 03 Gold Pearl (€7.90) from the Snow Diva Holiday Collection
The WYCON Caviar Touch Eyeshadow in 04 Cocoa Pearl (€7.90) from the Snow Diva Holiday Collection
The magpie in me is literally mesmerized by the new WYCON Caviar Touch Eyeshadow in 03 Gold Pearl. I swear it looks like real mini gold nuggets (although I have to admit that my closest encounter with gold nuggets happened back in Klondike with Scrooge McDuck…).
I had never seen an eyeshadow like that before… You?
To apply it, you have to press the beads with your finger (or a brush, but I prefer my finger), so the more you use it, the more the shadow will lose its beaded look, but, you know, it’s still something fun and different, so I’m all for it.
It’s the small things in life, right? 😉
On the lids the WYCON Caviar Touch Eyeshadow in 03 Gold Pearl has a beautiful foiled, duochrome effect, which makes it look more golden or more coppery depending on the angle.
Can we all please ignore the fact that I look like I’m scratching my neck and just focus on the gorgeous foiled effect of the WYCON Caviar Touch Eyeshadow in 03 Gold Pearl? Thanks! Oh, and in case you’re wondering, on the lips I’m wearing the amazing Clinique Pop Matte Lip Color + Primer in 06 Rose Pop
Oops, I’ve neglected shade 04 Cocoa Pearl, haven’t I?
Well, that’s probably because I don’t find it as impressive as its golden brother. I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s pretty and it performs well… but, you know, it lacks the foiled, duochrome look the gold one has, so it’s just a pretty standard bronze. I’m sure many of you will already have something similar in your collection.

Oh, and I should’ve probably asked you sooner (god, I’m all over the place today!), but… Have you ever heard of WYCON Cosmetics before?
It’s an Italian brand that reminds me quite a lot of KIKO (same type of stores, same price range). I think they have a few stores in other European countries as well, but I’m not sure where exactly (possibly Spain and Belgium?). If WYCON is available in your country, please let me and the other readers know in the comments below. And if you come to Italy, definitely check out one of their stores! They make amazing liquid lipsticks, among other things.

November 26, 2016 at 2:27 pmI am pretty sure I have seen WYCON when traveling, but I am not sure whether it was in Spain or in Italy, the only thing I know for sure is that they don’t have stores in Germany.
The eyeshadow looks perfect for the upcoming season, I love wearing gold with a red lip for any Christmas related celebration, and if it is a duochrome I am completely in love.

November 26, 2016 at 10:35 pmI haven’t heard of this brand before, but I love KIKO. So I’d definitely try these products if they were available in the UK. These shadows look so unique, I definitely haven’t seen anything like this! The shades on you and in your swatches both look stunning. I love foiled/duo-chrome shadows so much, but I’ve only ever tried Makeup Geeks’ versions. These seem like a great alternative to a loose pigments and shadows. But also like they wouldn’t make half as much mess, win win!:)

November 28, 2016 at 1:54 pmHaha for your ‘inner magpie’ – I can totally relate to that, especially when it comes to cosmetics! Totally with you, it’s the little things 🙂 The formula in the pots are SO pretty and your swatches have totally convinced me, like you golden is probably my fave!

November 28, 2016 at 11:59 pmI never get all these lovely brands here in Canada and I know I’ve whined about the fact that I live in a small town hence makeup selections are extremely limited but I find it to be the main reason why I’m so left out. Do you think this brand is easily available online?

November 30, 2016 at 1:53 pmI’ve never heard of WYCON as it hasn’t hit the US, but KIKO is in a few places here 🙂 I’ve never tried nugget/pearl packaging eyeshadow but I’ve seen it for highlighters. It looks so gorgeous on you! It’s perfect for holiday parties 😀
